Marianna graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 2007 and a Master of Chiropractic in 2009. After working as an associate, Marianna started her own successful practice in Redfern, in 2011 and after recently taking time off to have children has decided to take up the role of associate once again.
Since graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Marianna has continuously undertaken professional development studies. This training included:
- Precise Points Dry Needling Levels 1 & 2
- Accurate Diagnosis of Shoulder Pain
- Accurate Diagnosis of Lower Back Pain
- Identifying the cause of patients’ headaches
- Functional Neurology Class 1
- Recognising Serious Disorders Masquerading as Mechanical Musculo-Skeletal Pain
- Accurate Diagnosis for Everyday Practice
In addition to a variety of techniques including Diversified, Activator, Drop Piece, Flexion Distraction and Kinesio-taping, Marianna offers Dry Needling and other soft tissue techniques and myofascial releases.
With a background in soccer, Marianna has an excellent understanding of a broad range of sports injuries and she places a strong emphasis on rehabilitative exercises.
Marianna is a registered Chiropractor with the Chiropractic Board of Australia and a member of Chiropractic Australia.
